Take note PLUS users coming from Penang / Ipoh, NSE to close for 4.5 hours tomorrow, 30-Nov

PLUS Malaysia has just announced that the south-bound stretch between Ipoh Utara and Ipoh Selatan (kilometre 267.3 to kilometre 280.6) will be closed from 10 am to 2.30 pm tomorrow (30-November).

The closure is to facilitate an emergency response training exercise. PLUS says the simulation is to access the efficiency level and response time of PLUS and fire and rescue agencies, and as well as to evaluate the process flow of highway safety procedures.

During the 4.5-hour closure, traffic will be diverted to a Federal trunk road (FT 240).

PLUS is advising highway users to plan their journey accordingly.
