Roadworks on the Candaba Viaduct, which is part of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and spans parts of Bulacan and Pampanga, will continue this week.
NLEX Corporation, which operates the 102-kilometer highway, announced in a Nov. 6, 2022 Facebook post that it will close parts of the southbound lane on the bridge from Nov. 7 to 11, 2022 to conduct safety upgrades.
The company added that all construction work will be done from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
NLEX Corporation said it will implement a counterflow scheme on the northbound lanes for vehicles heading towards Metro Manila.
The announcement comes after safety upgrades were done on the Candaba Viaduct from Nov. 3 to 4, 2022.
