YHI Philippines Inc., the sole authorized distributor of Elf Lubricants in the Philippines, will have Motovita, a one-stop motorcycle helmet, and accessories shop, and Archway, a multi-brand motorcycle dealership, as distributor-partners to market Elf products.
The partnership will strengthen Elf’s market position in the Philippine lubricants industry, particularly in the motorcycle oil segment. An intimate signing ceremony was held on November 18, 2022, at the Moon Rabbit Café in San Juan City to seal the partnership officially.
“In our goal to reintroduce the legendary Elf brand to the local market, it is essential that we establish and expand our distribution network first. Brand awareness campaign and events sponsorships will soon follow,” said YHI General Manager and Country Head Jason Delloso.
“Of the 19 million registered motorcycles in the country, 51% are scooters and other commuter bikes. These types of small displacement motorcycles mostly operate on high-stress conditions and therefore require the best engine oil to maintain performance and prevent pre-mature wear,” shares Raemin Reyes of Motovita. “With Elf’s technological expertise and extensive motorsports history, we are confident that its products will hold up even when the motorcycle is subjected to all sorts of abuse,” he added.
The YHI Philippines-Motovita-Archway partnership will combine each company’s brand equity and internal distribution strength to ensure that it stays at the forefront of motorcycle oils distribution and bring together expertise in business transmission and continuously offer customers high-quality products and distinctive customer services that forge lasting customer relationships.
If you have already used Elf on your motorcycle before, you are probably one of those cool OG bikers in the two-wheel community. How’s the receding hairline, by the way?
