It may be too early to judge. But as a digital marketing professional with 12 years of industry experience, I can predict who will have the upper hand as an AI search engine.

ChatGPT, like any other language model, has the following limitations:

While ChatGPT is a powerful tool for generating text, it is important to be aware of its limitations and use it cautiously.
The main question is, “Can ChatGPT Replace Google Search Engine”?
Google search uses algorithms to index and retrieve information from the internet, while ChatGPT generates text based on patterns it has learned from training data.
However, it cannot replace Google as a search engine. Google’s search engine capabilities are much more sophisticated and specialized than ChatGPT’s language generation capabilities.
While ChatGPT can generate contextually relevant text and answer questions, it is not designed to search and retrieve information from the internet as Google does. Google uses complex algorithms and indexes billions of web pages to provide the most relevant results for a given query. At the same time, ChatGPT generates text based on the patterns it has learned from the training data.
Therefore, the statement “ChatGPT will replace Google’s Search Engine” sounds far-fetched. In my opinion, the amount of data Google has is immense, and considering the manpower and wealth, google can build a way better AI search platform any time, or they can acquire ChatGPT or any other AI companies easily like just they did in the case of YouTube, DoubleClick…etc.
