Imagine a social media tool which used your mobile phone as a remote control, you could write new messages, scroll through your Facebook timeline, send messages to someone via another app and easily show their profile page. Now, would you be willing to share your mobile phone or tablet with Facebook?
I’m sorry but no. Personally, I wouldn’t use Facebook on my phone because they don’t make it easy to log in, only an app to login for native apps. However, I do use mobile apps. In fact, I use two apps every day (Kik Messenger and Xero) for my business. On my mobile device, I’m able to access them from anywhere and I’m pretty comfortable with them.
Why? Unlike Facebook
If you’re interested, Kik Messenger is a great mobile app for businesses and customers to connect. Why? Unlike Facebook, there’s no requirement to log in in order to use it. Kik allows you to login, log out and even send messages to other users.
If you are in this boat too, and you haven’t already joined the evero login, myolsd party, send me an email. Or you can simply head over to the app on the App Store.
Xero is a great business app, it can be used from anywhere and you don’t have to log in to send or receive messages. The app has over 100,000 customers using it and 30% of all small businesses in New Zealand have used Xero. If you’re looking for a good business app to enable mobile phones to help you get started with your business, Xero is definitely worth checking out.
In fact, while businesses tend to shy away from using mobile apps to access their business accounts, it’s quite common for individuals and families to use mobile apps to do their everyday activities.
Some of the most popular apps in New Zealand are:
Beauty Skin Rx for the mobile phone. Buy products online, make purchases and track your purchases. This is a great business app for people who want to order from brands in the future and use their credit card to pay, or for people who want to see if they really want to purchase their product.
Curbside is another great business app to enable mobile phone users to access their business accounts. You can track sales, set up reminders, and look at upcoming sales events.
Swagbucks is a great app to track business purchases. If you’re making purchases on a regular basis, you can see which vendors have discount codes, or you can see how many points you’ve earned for your purchases.
Another app I like to use is Wishpin. It allows you to buy, earn and save as much as 50% of the purchases you make through your phone or tablet. Again, if you’re a business who’s using the mobile phone to run your business, this is a great app to enable mobile phone users to log into their accounts.
Unlike the previous apps, you do need to sign up for a Wishpin account before you can log into your business account. You need to enable an account in order to view and log into your business account.
Therefore, if you do decide to have an account with a mobile app to enable mobile phone users to log in, you do need to make sure you have an account with the business app as well.
One of the most important things about mobile apps is the ability to enable mobile phone users to log in. They do need access to their mobile phone or tablet to be able to use these apps. Whether you’re using a native app or an app from another company, the fact that people will have to have access to their mobile phone or tablet in order to use these apps is the same. For these businesses to be successful, their business needs to be enabled to connect with mobile phone users.
If your business is not mobile friendly, or you’re concerned about your customers accessing your business account through a mobile app, the best advice I can give you is to talk to your marketing team, app developer or someone else within your company. Their advice will likely be different to mine and it’s often best to follow the advice of those who have the experience and knowledge to run your business.
