This Gucci-themed EV is a genuine item – Meet the 408 km / 95 PS Chery Unbounded Pro Gucci

Nope this is not a knockoff product, but a genuine Gucci licensed item, with genuine Gucci materials inside. This is the Gucci edition Chery Wu Jie Pro, which if you insist on an English translation, is called the Chery Unbounded Pro.

It’s a 2-door, 4-seater mini battery electric vehicle (EV) aimed at fashionable ladies looking for a chic urban, easy to drive, (almost) zero maintenance EV.

In terms of powertrain, the Gucci edition Wu Jie Pro remains unchanged from the standard car. Two variants are available: the base 301 km range model is powered by a 28.86 kWh battery, and makes 75 PS / 150 Nm; the higher range 408 km model is powered by a 40.3 kWh battery, making 95 PS / 120 Nm. Driving range is based on the Chinese WLTP (CLTC) test cycle.

Inside, the seats, door panels, and steering wheel wear the familiar Gucci green-red stripes and Gucci weave pattern. The Gucci logo is embroidered alongside iCar, a Chery domestic sub-brand for its range of Internet-enabled EVs. Outside of China, Chery’s iCar models are sold under the EQ name (not related to Mercedes-Benz, only single digits are used for Chery’s EQ models).

Currently, the Chery Wu Jie Pro Gucci has yet to go on sale but standard model is priced from around CNY 89,900 to CNY 112,900 (~RM 56k to ~RM 70.5k), after generous Chinese subsidies for EVs. Of course, the Gucci logo will add a very significant premium to the standard car’s price.
