Leaked: This is the new TNGA-based 2023 Toyota Innova Zenix before you’re supposed to see it

Ahead of its global debut next week, images of the next-generation 2023 Toyota Innova Zenix has leaked on the internet.

This lone leaked photo is courtesy of this Instagram account, and it gives us a pretty good look at Toyota’s upcoming MPV.

Up front, the next-gen Innova features a massive pentagonal-shaped front grille that’s flanked by slim headlights, not too dissimilar from the Corolla Cross. There’s also a pair of slim pair of LEDs nestled beneath the headlights.

While these leaks did not reveal the next-gen Innova’s rear-end, Toyota did drop a short 10-second teaser, giving a sneak preview of the new MPV. From the teaser, the next-gen Innova gets a pair of LED lightbars in the tail light, giving it an upmarket look.

In terms of driveline, as the Innova is said to adopt Toyota’s proven TNGA platform, it will most likely drop the current rear-wheel drive (RWD) layout and adopt a front-wheel drive (FWD) layout instead. Earlier teasers by Toyota also showed Toyota’s hybrid emblem on the next-gen Innova, hinting that the new people mover will be blessed with Toyota’s tried-and tested hybrid powertrain.
